First things first - let me introduce myself! My name is Melanie, I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and I love anything local and colorful.
I am finally bringing my goal of being a eco-friendly wedding and event planner to life! For the past 7 years, I have been a healthcare interior designer bringing color and a sustainable design to outdated hospitals and medical office buildings. For long as I can remember, I've loved planning things and have always ended up in that role. I have taken many color, design, and sustainability classes which always ends up leading me back to planning. I can't help it but I love to plan and throw a great event! After 12 years of planning St. Baldrick's events, friends weddings, and our own wedding, I have found my true passion, helping other bring their vision to life without have to stress!
Oak & Honey Events is about creating eco-friendly, unique weddings that are designed for each couple. You may ask what do you mean by Eco-friendly? Our environment is changing daily and by reducing our impact on it we help it continue in it's natural form. Creating a wedding with the environment in mind means reviewing details like venues, flowers, favors, and catering just to name a few.
