According to an old superstition, it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day. If that's true, then Allie and Matt are the luckiest couple around! Despite the two storms that hit before their ceremony, as well as a quick downpour during the reception, their 200-guest wedding was otherwise flawless! The ceremony and reception were both held at Meadow Ridge Farm in Windsor, Ohio. For the ceremony, the couple utilized the Wedding Island Ceremony Site, and the reception was held at the Maple Pavilion.

Oak & Honey Events designed and coordinated Allie and Matt's big day, which took place on Memorial Day weekend, and was led by our Associate Event Planner, Krysta! As a lover of natural greenery, Allie wanted to keep the color palette very neutral and green. From the wooden slices and potted plants on the guest tables to the gold terrariums filled with rice lights and air plants, the decor had hints of both rustic charm as well as sophisticated elegance.
